Come join the Southern New Hampshire chapter of NEMBA for all the fun, while helping to save/maintain the trails in Bear Brook State Park! All the money raised by the Boogie goes directly to the park to rebuild and maintain the trails.

New Date for 2021 - Sunday September 12, 2021 - Due to a logging operation that will be starting in the park mid September and continuing until the winter, we have decided to hold the Bear Brook Boogie while you can still ride “the Bears”. Big Bear and Little Bear will be amongst the trails closed during the logging operation, so come ride them with us one last time before they are temporarily closed for the logging operation.

New Starting Location for 2021 - Hayes Field (Podunk Rd) - Starting the event from Hayes Field is very exciting for us as it will allow us to create better loops and also provide an all around better experience for all rider levels allowing riders to “get to the good stuff” without having to ride a long way to get there.

Marked Courses: Riders can follow marked courses on their own at any time or take part in a led ride. There will be a 1.75 mile kids/family loop, a 3.5 mile demo loop, a 6-mile beginner loop, a 14-16 mile intermediate loop (or a little longer if you take the Hero option back to Hayes), and a 20-25 mile advanced loop. Ride fast or just cruise, the trails are arrowed so everyone knows where to go and you don’t have to worry about getting lost!

Led Rides (see full schedule below): We'll have a beginner ride of about 6 miles, an intermediate of about 16 miles, and an advanced of about 24 miles. All rides leave between 10:00am and 10:30am ET. Full schedule is posted below.
There won't be any led family rides. Choose to ride the well arrowed kids/family loop as many times as you want at your own pace.

Cost: $10.00 for NEMBA members, $50.00 for non-members

Online registration will only be available until 7pm ET on Saturday September 11, 2021. After that time, only in-person, day of event paper registrations will be accepted with cash only as the payment option. Plan ahead, register online and save yourself some time on event day!

You can join or renew on the NEMBA website before registering for the event.

Bear Brook State Park, located in Allenstown NH, offers over 30 miles of mountain biking trails from mellow woods roads to challenging single track. In addition, the park offers camping (May – October) and a beach/swimming area. Come explore the park while helping a good cause. It’s a great way to spend the day and it’s a great place to ride!

Camping: Bear Brook has a wonderful campground, so come and make a weekend out of it! For reservations call 877-647-2757. For more info on camping: https://www.nhstateparks.org/visit/state-parks/bear-brook-state-park

Food: Forza-G will be there with their great BBQ sandwiches and tacos again (for a donation to a great cause.)

Demo Bikes: There will be a limited amount of demo bikes available from shops at the event. Philbrick’s will be back this year. (Other availability and shop participation to be determined). Demo bikes will only be allowed on the demo loop for a short ride. Demo bikes will not be allowed on led rides.

Rain Date: There will be no rain date this year.

Because this event is a fundraiser refunds will only be upon request if the event is canceled due to weather.
